AWE improved glucose metabolism in IR HepG2 cells. HepG2 cells were exposed to 0.2 mM PA with or without indicated concentrations (0.1, 0.25, and 0.5 mg/mL) of AWE or 100 µM metformin (Met) for 24 h and then treated with 100 nM insulin for 30 min.
