Cell viability measurements to assess cytotoxic effects of BMGLS on primary NHBE cells. NHBE cells were stimulated with concentrations of 0.07%, 0.15%, 0.3%, 0.6% 1.25%, 2.5% and 5% (v/v) including 5% HCS as solvent control for 24 h followed by cytotoxicity assessment using an MTT assay. Data was normalized to the unstimulated control. Differences between groups were assessed using One-way ANOVA with Dunnet’s multiple comparisons test. Significance was considered at p < 0.05 (*)
