Analysis of nephrin expression in the kidney tissues of different groups of rats

Kidney tissue sections were stained with anti-nephrin and HRP-conjugated second antibodies, followed by DAB staining. The signal intensity of nephrin staining in at least 20 glomeruli of each group of rats was measured. The relative nephrin expression in the kidney tissues of individual groups of rats was determined using Western blot analysis. Data are representative images (magnification x 400) or are expressed as the mean ± SD of each group of rats from three separate experiments.
