Histological examination of kidney tissue damage in diabetic rats
After 4 weeks of treatment with Shenkang or Valsartan, kidney tissue sections from the different groups of rats were stained with H&E and PAS, respectively. The glomerular volumes in individual rats were calculated. Data are representative images (magnification x 400) or expressed as the mean ± SD of each group of rats from three separate experiments.
