Butyrate suppressed the proliferation of human CC cells. CCK8 was used to determinate the proliferation of (A) HeLa and (B) Ca Ski cells treated with 5mM butyrate for 12, 24, 48 and 72 h. The EdU staining assay was performed to detect apoptotic cells in (C) HeLa and (E) Ca Ski cells. (D, F) Quantitative analysis of the proportion of red fluorescence in EdU.
