UVB-induced wrinkle formation was attenuated by water extract of Alpinia officinarum rhizome (WEAOR) treatment. Wrinkles were analyzed using a skin replica taken from the dorsal area of the control, UVB, UVB + WEAOR 25, and UVB + WEAOR 50 mouse groups (n = 5). Representative pictures of mouse dorsal area (upper panel) and skin replica (lower panel) (A), and the number of wrinkles was counted and tabulated (B). Each data value is expressed as mean ± SD. Different letters indicate significant differences between groups (P < 0.05)
