Effects of PLM on cytokine production in splenocytes. Mice were pretreated with KRG (100 mg/mL) or PLM (50, 100, and 200 mg/mL) orally for 5 weeks. Moreover, all mice except normal mice were stimulated with 10% PP treated 3 days before the sacrifice and 2% starch treated 2 days before the sacrifice. The splenocytes were collected and subjected to an ELISA kit for (A) IL-2, B IL-12, C IFN-γ and calculated (D) IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio.
