Schematic representation of the experimental procedure. AD-like inflammation was induced in the dorsal skin of female SKH-1 hairless mice with 1% DNCB for 1 week and 0.5% DNCB for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks of boosting, MCM patch and tacrolimus ointment were applied for 7 days to MCM and PC groups, respectively. On the 35th day, mice were sacrificed, and blood and skin tissue samples were collected for further analysis
