A. muricata L. leaf and bark extracts display selective anti-proliferative activity on prostate cancer cells. PC-3 prostate cancer cell line (a) and RWPE-1 normal prostate cell line (b) were treated for 72 h with 100 μg/mL extracts of hexane, ethanol and ethyl acetate of leaf, bark alone and leaf:bark in 1:1 ratio.
