The results are expressed as mean ± SEM (n = 6/group); mean differences between the groups was analyzed using one-way ANOVA with Tukey test for multiple comparison # and ## denotes p < 0.05 and p < 0.01, respectively, when compared with normal control group *and** denotes p < 0.05 and p < 0.01, respectively, when compared to isoproterenol group. p ≤ 0.05 is considered as statistically significant. Biostatistical analysis was performed using GraphPad Prism 5.0 Version
