Liver section of both normal groups show normal central vein (CV) and surrounding hepatocytes. Arthritic-non treated model group show inflammation in the portal tract. Treatment with methotrexate resulted in infiltration of cells in portal and lobular tract with mild congestion and necrosis (*) at day 44 (× 400). Treatment with I3C improved the architecture showing only mild portal inflammation.
