Effects of BPRBE on induction of Beclin-1, Atg5, Atg12, Atg16L and LC3 in S. Typhimurium-infected macrophages. RAW 264.7 cells were lysed after treatment with BPRBE and NPRBE (100 μg/mL) for 24 h and infected with S. Typhimurium for 5 h. The cell lysate was subjected to electrophoresis on 12% SDS-PAGE. Western blotting was carried out with the primary antibodies with β-Actin as an internal control. The relative proportions of each protein are expressed as the R. E. (relative expression) values calculated from each target protein/β-Actin expression. Figures represent results from at least three individual experiments
