Participant Selection. The patients were divided into three groups according to their diagnosis at the initial visit. The exclusion criteria included patients currently taking a Kampo medicine, antivertigo medicine, or diuretics; those for whom electronic medical records were not available; and those with subjective edema, swollen tongue, or dental indentation
