Effects of ZMHE on iNOS expression in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells. a The iNOS luciferase reporter vector was transfected into RAW264.7 cells and cultured for 24 h. The cells were pretreated with ZMHE for 1 h and then stimulated with LPS (200 ng/ml). Luciferase activity was calculated against an LPS-unstimulated control. b The cells were pretreated with the indicated concentrations of ZMHE for 1 h and then further incubated with LPS (200 ng/ml). After 24 h incubation, the cell lysates were prepared and then subjected to Western blot analysis. The bands for iNOS were detected, and normalized to that of β-actin. Densitometric analysis was performed by using ImageJ program. The results are mean ± standard deviation (SD) (n = 3). P < 0.01 vs. LPS-untreated control. *P < 0.01 vs. LPS-treated control
