  2. • Rats labeled LA1-LA7 received 0.2 μl of 0.8 M lactic acid solution; LA6- LA7 were euthanized at 12 hr; LA 4- LA 5 were euthanized at 24 hr; LA 2- LA 3 were euthanized at 48 hr; LA 1 was euthanized at 120 hr.
