  1. Each group was composed of 6–8 rats. The H2 dose for each rat was calculated by (hydrogen concentration x average daily water intake)/average body weight. Weight gain was calculated by subtracting the body weight at the first day of treatment from the body weight before gastric injury. There is no significant difference between different groups.
