A free radical source (AAPH) generates peroxyl radical at a constant rate, and the effect of different concentrations of RMO on free radical induced chemiluminescence is measured as area under curve during 60 min. (B) TAR values are calculated as the ratio of light intensity in absence of samples (AO)/light intensity right after RMO addition (A) and expressed as percent of inhibition.
