  1. The growth of cells was inhibited in a dose-dependent manner at concentrations of 200 and 500 μg/mL after 48 h. MTT assay was used to assess the growth inhibitory potential of extracts and is presented as percent growth inhibition relative to untreated cells. The Z-factor for this experiment was calculated to be 0.76. The extracts selected for apoptosis analysis are presented in bold letters.
