Effects of baicalein on the entry and adsorption stages of ZIKV infection. A549 cells were pre-treated with 100 µM baicalein for 1, 3, or 6 h (-1, -3, -6) before infection, or co-treated during infection. Cells were infected with MOI 1 of ZIKV and then infected cells were incubated for 24 h. Viral infectivity was determined by A flow cytometry, while B viral productivity was determined by plaque assay, and C viral genome copy number was determined by qRT-PCR. Viral titer and viral genome copy number are shown plotted on a logarithmic scale. Error bars show mean ± SD and p-value compared to DMSO control of each time-point (*** p-value < 0.001). UT = untreated
