Mode-of-action of C. papaya and P. guajava through TOA assay. A The target of methanolic extract of C. papaya and P. guajava was compared to known antiretroviral drugs. Final concentrations of drugs and extracts were introduced at various time intervals concurrently and/or after HIV-1VB028 infection as indicated. Comparative analysis of loss-of-inhibition profile of (B) C. papaya and (C) P. guajava with known HIV-1 PR inhibitor (RTV) and HIV-1 entry inhibitor (DS), respectively. The loss-of-inhibition profile was calculated in terms of Relative Luciferase Unit (RLU). The data represented are the mean and standard deviation of at least three independent experimental replicates
