WEA decreases the body weight and liver steatosis of HFD-induced NAFLD rats. 8 weeks old male rats were fed HFD for 8 weeks, and then treatment with WEA at three dosage (0.4, 0.8, and 1.6 g/kg body weight) for 8 weeks. After the end of the intervention, the serum and liver tissues were collected. Body weight (A), liver weight (B), liver index (C), and liver TG content (D) were performed.
