WEA decreases the body weight and liver steatosis of HFD-induced NAFLD rats. 8 weeks old male rats were fed HFD for 8 weeks, and then treatment with WEA at three dosage (0.4, 0.8, and 1.6 g/kg body weight) for 8 weeks. After the end of the intervention, the serum and liver tissues were collected. Body weight (A), liver weight (B), liver index (C), and liver TG content (D) were performed. The data are expressed as mean ± SD, n = 8 per group. **P < 0.01 vs. Control group; #P < 0.05, ##P < 0.01 vs. HFD group; $P < 0.05, $$P < 0.01 vs. HFD + WEA 0.4 group
