Antimigratory effect of MNBE on cervical cancer cells. (A) Microscopical images representing the anti-migratory effect of MNBE on HeLa, SiHa, and ME-180 cells. Cells were incubated in the absence or presence of MNBE at 10, 20, and 30 µg/ml. Images were captured at 0, 12, and 24 h. The yellow lines marked the boundaries of the scratched wounds. (B) Results are expressed as the percentage of wound area covered by cells, considering the area measured at 0 h as 0%. (C) HeLa, SiHa, and ME-180 cells were seeded in the top chamber of transwell with serum-free medium and treated with 10, 20, and 30 µg/ml of MNBE. After about 24 h, migrated cells were fixed, stained, photographed, and quantified (20X). Data expressed as the mean ± SEM of the three independent experiments. Vehicle-treated cells were used as control. The significant differences are indicated by *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001 and **** P < 0.0001 vs vehicle control
