The phosphorylation levels of ERK and CREB in the hippocampus after the ELCM administration. Mice were sacrificed 1 h after the administration of ELCM (150, 300 or 600 mg/kg, p.o.) and donepezil (DNZ, 5 mg/kg, p.o.). The immunoreactivity of ERK and CREB and their phosphorylation levels in the hippocampal tissues were measured. The immunoreactivity levels of pERK/ERK and pCREB/CREB were standardized to those in the control group (set to 1.0). Data are presented as the means ± S.E.M.
