Effect of ECN (10 mg/kg) on DNA damage in paw tissue analyzed by comet assay (scale bar = 100 μm). Fluorescence photomicrographs showed significant protection of the DNA following CFA treated group in the paw tissue. The changes in the DNA content were estimated by tail length and % DNA in the tail in all the treated groups. The data were represented as the mean ± SD (n = 7). (*) p < 0.05, (**) p < 0.01 and (***) p < 0.001 indicates significant difference from the CFA control group, while (###) means comparison with the CFA treated group
