From: Berberine ameliorates testosterone-induced benign prostate hyperplasia in rats
Histopathological observations (prostatic tissue stained with Hematoxylin & Eosin, magnification X150) showing effects of BBR and Fin on BPH. Prostate tissue of the BPH group showed morphological abnormalities in the prostate epithelial (as identified by enhanced thickness of epithelial and multiple unorganized layers (white arrow), and numerous intra-glandular lumen papillary folds (black arrow).
