The effect of UMB (1, 10 and 50 mg/kg) treatment on the allergic ear edema (both male and female mice) induced by (a, b) acute histamine and (c, d) chronic PiCl (sensitized with Toluene). The UMB dose dependently inhibited the ear edema in both acute and chronic study compared to the negative control. Similarly, the positive control treated with the dexamethasone (10 mg/kg) also significantly attenuated the ear edema. The data were represented as mean ± standard deviation (n = 5). (*) p<0.05, (**) p<0.01, (***) p<0.001 indicates significance, while ### shows comparison with the negative control
