The dichloromethane fraction of Cleome droserifolia methanolic extract (CDD) can induce cleavage of procaspase 7 and PARP. MCF-7 cells were treated with 250 μg/ml of CDD for a) 24 h, and b) multiple time points. Western blots were carried out on the untreated, DMSO Control, and CDD-treated cellular lysates for the specified caspase or poly ADB ribose polymerase (PARP) proteins. Beta-actin antibody was used as a loading control. DMSO-treated, DMSO control having the same amount of DMSO as the test samples
