Effect of C3G on the gene expression of endogenous antioxidant and phase II enzymes in HT22 cells. After treatment cells with C3G (0–1 μM), cells were collected and analyzed for gene expression. The levels of (a) SOD1, (b) SOD2, (c) CAT, (d) GPx, (e) GSTo1 and (f) GSTa2 mRNA expression were determined by quantitative real-time PCR. The data are shown as fold change of mRNA expression normalized with β-actin.
