Norwogonin inhibited hypoxia-induced injury in PC12 cells. MTT assay (a and b). PC12 cells were treated with variable concentrations of norwogonin for 1 h, and then incubated for another 24 h under normal (a) or hypoxia (b) condition. Representative microscopy (c) and LDH leakage (d). Cells were incubated with norwogonin for 1 h and then exposed to hypoxia for 24 h. After the treatment, the cell was stained with hematoxylin and eosin and examined under light microscopy. The levels of LDH release in cell suspensions were analyzed by the LDH assay kit. Results are expressed as means ± SD, n = 6 or 3. ##P < 0.01 vs control group, *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 vs hypoxia group
