EAB extract and annonacin yield no impact on intracellular Reactive Oxygen species (ROS). Intracellular ROS generated in DU-145 cells treated with 2.5 μM H2O2 (positive control), extract and annonacin relative to untreated cells (control) were assessed after 72 h using the fluorescent probe DCF-DA. EAB extract and annonacin showed no impact on ROS generation. Data are means ± SEM of triplicates in three independent experiments. Statistical significance indicated by *** (one-way ANOVA, P < 0.0001)
