The effect of OIE on MMP level in 3 T3-L1 cells. The cells were incubated with JC-1 fluorescence dye for 60 min at different periods. Labeled cells were collected and analyzed using a flow cytometer with excitation 488 nm. Means ± SD value (n = 9) of three independent experiments is demonstrated. The data were reported as the ratio of red aggregates (FL-2 channel) to green monomer (FL-1 channel). ND: non-differentiated cells (pre-adipocytes); ND + OIE(200): non-differentiated cells with OIE at 200 μg/mL (OIE-treated pre-adipocytes); D: differentiated cells with 0.1% DMSO (untreated-adipocytes); D + OIE(200): differentiated cells with OIE at 200 μg/mL (OIE-treated adipocytes). Differences among groups were determined by one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s Post-hoc test, and the different superscript alphabets are significantly different from each other (P < 0.05)
