Effect of BV in TNF-α and IL-6 secretion of 264.7 RAW macrophages stimulated by MRSA. After stimulation for 16 h with supernatants of S. aureus grown in the presence of graded concentrations of BV in RAW 264.7 cells, TNF-α and IL-6 levels were measured by ELISA. Different letters (a-e) indicate significant differences at the p < 0.05 level, according to analysis of variance followed by Scheffe’s test for multiple comparisons (p < 0.05).
