Inhibitory effects of stalk extracts on LPS-induced NF-kB activation. a Inhibitory effect of stalk extracts on LPS-induced p65 phosphorylation in RAW 264.7 macrophages. The cells were pretreated with stalk extracts at the indicated concentrations for 1 h before incubation with LPS (1 μg/ml) for 1 h. The protein expression of p-p65 and β-actin were assessed by western blot analysis. b Inhibitory effect of stalk extracts on LPS-induced p65 nuclear translocation in RAW 264.7 macrophages. Cells were pretreated with stalk extracts (100 μg/ml) for 1 h followed by stimulation with LPS (1 μg/ml) for 30mins. Samples were stained by anti-p65 antibody, Alexa Fluor 546 goat anti-rabbit antibody and DAPI then determined by confocal microscopy analysis
