Regression analysis of antioxidant activity of P. mariana extracts with respect to PC12-AC bioactivity in high glucose media. Antioxidant activity is measured with respect to ascorbic acid and bioactivity is represented as percent viability with respect to normoglucose control. We do not see any trend; therefore, the antioxidant activity is not likely the main mechanism of protection (p = 0.89, n = 13)
