Total phenolic content in terms of quercetin equivalents, of P. mariana needle, bark and cone extracts. Needle, bark and cone phenolic content was found to be significantly different from each other at p ≤ 0.05 ((*) = significantly different from needle; (#) = significantly different from bark; (%) = significantly different from cone). Cone had the highest phenolic content with 398.68 (SE = 48.77, n = 5), followed by bark at 244.08 (SE = 14.51, n = 18) and needle with 146.34 μg/mg extract (SE = 3.78, n = 40)
