Experimental design: Induction of arthritic experimental model was accomplished on day 0 and 1. Treatment with I3C began on day 2 and lasted for 21 days only. Cessation of the treatment with I3C done to examine the prolonged hepatoprotective effects of I3C against the continued weekly injections of MTX.
