The problems that have to be solved in the Kampo education from 74 schools. Selecting and retaining teachers who can teach Kampo medicine for clinical settings was the most critical problem (43 schools, 58%), followed by preparation of standard textbooks (37 schools, 50%), and improvement of the environment for practical training (30 schools, 41%)
