HPLC of ferrioxamine B. Ferrioxamine B at 1.0 μg/mL concentration was analysed by injecting 10 μL in Waters Xterra MS MS HPLC system. The column used was C18, 5 µm, 4.6 x 100 mm, at a flow-rate of 1.5 mL per min. Solvent system was 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) in water (v/v) for first 10 min, followed by equal volumes of 0.1% aqueous TFA and acetonitrile (1:1 v/v) for the next 30 min. And then 0.1% TFA in water (v/v) for the next 10 min, peaks monitored at 420nm. The chromatogram showed a single peak between 15-20 min
