Effect of ZJW in an orthotopic intrahepatic xenograft mouse model. Mice were injected with HepG2/NF-κB/Luc cells. Three days after tumor cell implantation, mice were subjected to image for bioluminescent signals (a) and divided into ZJW treatment groups and mock groups. Left picture represents no cell transplantation. Right picture represents cell transplantation. The color overlay on the image represents photons/s emitted from the body, as indicated by the color scales. Photos are representative images (n = 18). Mice were then received ZJW (200 mg/kg) or PBS by gavages every day. At 7-, 14-, or 28-day intervals, mice were sacrificed to measure the body weight (b), tumor-liver ratio (c), and ascites scores (d).
