  1. Fgo denotes that filamentous growth was observed, while Nfgo denotes that no filamentous growth was observed. The ethanol extract of Cleome gynandra indicated MFCs of ≥ 0.5 mg/ml for Microsporum canis and Trichophyton mentagrophytes, and ≥ 0.125 mg/ml for Trichophyton rubrum as result of subculturing 200 µl of dermatophytes from each serially diluted test tubes onto SDA slants. Mc = Microsporum canis; Tm = Trichophyton mentagrophytes; and, Tr = Trichophyton rubrum
