Effect of PTS on intracellular Ca2+ concentration ([Ca2+]i) in thrombin, collagen or ADP activated platelets. Platelets were loaded with Fura-2/AM as described in ‘Materials and Methods Section’. The platelets (4 × 108 cells · ml-1) were pre-incubated with or without a PTS and then the platelets were stimulated with thrombin (0.1 U/ml) (a), collagen (2.5 μg · ml-1) (b) or ADP (10 μM) (c) for 5 min, respectively. [Ca2+]i levels were determined as described in ‘Materials and Methods Section’. Bar graphs show mean ± SD of at least 3 independent experiments performed. *p <0.05 vs. agonist activated control
