Bacterial susceptibility to the crud protein of two Amaranthus species was conducted using disc diffusion assay. Antimicrobial activity was determined by measuring the zone of inhibition in millimeter (mm). Kanamycin (15 μg/disc) was used as positive control. Each value represents a mean ± SD (n = 3). Significance was set at P <0.05 (*) and P <0.01 (**) with respect to control
