Effect of diets on body weight gain, liver weight, faecal moisture, and plasma immunoglobulin. Body weight (a) was monitored weekly during the feeding period. Liver weight (b) and faecal moisture (c) were determined after 3 weeks of feeding. Data are presented as the mean ± SD (n = 6). At the end of the feeding period, IgA (d) and IgG (e) levels in rat plasma samples were determined by ELISA and are presented as the mean ± SD, with three biological replicates and two technical replicates.
