SBS inhibited the upregulation of Wnt5a and β-catenin induced by TGF-β1. (A) Western blot analysis of Wnt pathway molecules. 10 ng/mL TGF-β1 induced the expression of β-catenin and Wnt5a and dephosphotylated GSK-3β at ser 9. SBS reduced the expression of β-catenin and Wnt5a and increased the phosphorylation of GSK-3β in both HCT116 and SW480 cells. Semiquantitive analysis is showed in Table 6.
