From: Antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory activities of Geranium bellum and its isolated compounds
Local antinociceptive effect of acetone-aqueous extract from G. bellum (AGB), diclofenac, and indomethacin in 1% formalin test. Rats (n = 6) were pretreated with a s.c. injection of vehicle, AGB, diclofenac, or indomethacin into either paw before formalin injection. Data are expressed as the area under curve (AUC) of the number of flinches against time. Significantly different from vehicle group (*P < 0.05 and #P < 0.01), as determined by analysis of variance followed by Tukey’s test.
