Xuebijing treatment prevented inflammatory cell infiltration in paraquat-induced lung injury. Inflammatory cells in BALF were measured. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM. **P < 0.01 compared with control group; # P < 0.05 and ## P < 0.01 compared with paraquat group; P > 0.05 Xuebijing + paraquat group compared with dexamethasone + paraquat group.
