Xuebijing treatment suppressed the production of inflammatory mediators. The levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-10 in serum were determined using ELISA. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM. **P < 0.01 compared with control group; # P < 0.05 and ## P < 0.01 compared with paraquat group; P > 0.05 Xuebijing + paraquat group compared with dexamethasone + paraquat group.
