The clear zone formed around the discs indicated that S. aureus was susceptible to extract UE-08 (A) and compounds UC-27 & UC-28 (B). The negative control (DMSO) showed no clear zone around the disc while the positive control (200 μg/mL gentamicin) suppressed the growth of S. aureus and formed a 20 mm zone of inhibition around the disc.Back to article page
