Western blot analysis of apoptosis related proteins in MDA-MB-231 cells. (A) Effect of F1 and F2 fractions on the expression of PARP, p53, caspase-3, Bcl-2, and Bcl2-associated X (BAX) proteins. Expression of β-actin was used as an internal control. MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with 25 and 50 μg/ml of F1 or F2 fractions and control cells were treated with 0.5% DMSO for 48 hours. Western blots are representative of three independent experiments.
