Danggui extract restores the Ang II-suppressed H9c2 cardiomyoblast cell viability. The cell viability of Ang II-treated H9c2 cells pre-treated (A) and post-treated (B) with Danggui extract was measured by MTT assay. The results are expressed as the mean ± S.E.M. of four independent experiments. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 represent significant differences between cells treated with Ang II alone and cells treated with Ang II and Danggui extract.
